April 3, 2024—CCO is pleased to announce credentialing workshops for Practical Exam Proctors that will include an audit event immediately following each workshop.
Those interested in becoming credentialed in one of these programs will be able to take advantage of a unique arrangement by which they will attend the Practical Exam Proctor workshop and then complete their audit as part of the same event, at the same location, for no additional charge.*
The workshops are to be held in Harrisburg, PA:
Prior to attending a PEPP workshop for the first time, each new PEP is required to attend a Core Webinar, which covers content common to all programs and is delivered virtually. Current Practical Exam Proctors who already hold the new Proctor—Practical credential are not required to attend the Core Webinar. There is an annual training access fee of $100 to maintain all PEP credentials, regardless of the number of credentials held, which includes attending the virtual Core Webinar.
To register and attend this workshop and audit event, attendees will be required to participate in the audit event for the workshop(s) for which they register. All audits will be conducted at the workshop location. Workshop attendees will be assigned audit times to allow them to coordinate travel arrangements. Please note that audits will begin as early as June 24, 2024, and may continue through the weekend, based on attendee registration.
*Audits are only being offered to attendees registered for these workshops. Only the first provisional audit (for each workshop/program) will be conducted as part of this event. Any additional audit(s) required will be subject to the second audit requirement as outlined in the Practical Exam Proctor Handbook.
Who Should Attend:
CCO reviews all potential participants’ applications before admission to the workshop is granted. Certification in the applicable program(s) is required when applying to attend the workshop; spots cannot be reserved pending certification results. Each workshop is strictly limited to 12 participants and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Steps to Register:
- Indicate which in-person Practical Exam Proctor Credentialing Workshop(s) you wish to attend by checking the appropriate box or boxes on the workshop application (may be more than one).
- Indicate you will be participating in the audit event by checking the box on the workshop application (only one).
- Submit your workshop application to proctorworkshops@nccco.org by the deadline.
