The NCCCO Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable organization formed by the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO) in 2018 to promote industry safety by conducting research, educating about–and advocating for–personnel safety and certification, and facilitating access by youth, military personnel, and underserved communities to education, training and certification through scholarships and grants.

Education

The industry’s seemingly ever-changing working conditions, technology, and federal and state rules are challenging to keep abreast of, and the NCCCO Foundation is constantly improving and augmenting its educational and informational offerings in response.

Workforce Development

Over recent years there has emerged a severe shortage of trained construction professionals to help build this nation’s infrastructure. The NCCCO Foundation is addressing this skills gap, which has been widened by an aging workforce, through participation in multiple initiatives.
