At a gala on November 11, NCCCO will celebrate the 25th anniversary of when CCO certifications first became available.
September 22, 2021—CCO is gearing up for its first in-person meetings in nearly two years this fall in Arlington, VA. Last year marked the 25th Anniversary of the founding of CCO; however, 2021 marks the 25th Anniversary of when CCO certification first became available.
The black-tie (optional) 25th Anniversary Gala will take place the evening of Thursday, November 11, after several days of exam management committee meetings and the Sixth Annual Industry Forum on Personnel Qualifications presented by the NCCCO Foundation. The evening’s festivities will start with a reception with hors d’oeuvres and refreshments, which will provide networking opportunities and a great way to meet other professionals in the industry. The reception will then be followed by a formal plated dinner accompanied by the Gala celebration.
Engaging Speakers
Guests will be treated to keynote presentations by CCO CEO Thom Sicklesteel and NCCCO Foundation CEO Graham Brent, reflecting on the history of CCO and honoring CCO’s “Difference Makers,” as well as stakeholders in the construction and certification arenas. Many of CCO’s esteemed volunteers will be honored for their decades of contributions to developing and managing CCO’s broad portfolio of 28 certification designations across 12 categories.
Commissioners Meet on November 12th
The Gala will be followed by the 51st Biannual Commissioners Meeting on Friday at the same facility as the Gala and exam management committee meetings that week.
