To request use of the NCCCO acronym and/or logo please submit this form via fax or mail.
The following requirements apply
to the use of:
(i) the CCO logo (ii) the CCO acronyms: "CCO" "NCCCO"
in any form including, but not limited to, promotional literature and correspondence.
1. General Use. A company, organization or individual wishing to use (i) the CCO logo and/or (ii) the NCCCO acronyms, "CCO" and/or "NCCCO", in any form including, but not limited to, promotional literature and correspondence, shall submit a written proposal for each intended use of the CCO logo or acronyms including a copy of any proposed artwork. The company, organization or individual must receive written permission for each such use from the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators and shall place the following wording in a prominent position adjacent to each CCO logo used:
"[Company XYZ] fully endorses the national certification program offered by the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO).
2. Use by Training Firm. If the company, organization or individual is a "for hire" entity offering services (such as training) to third parties on a commercial basis, it shall offer no other national crane operator certification program, in order to avoid confusion of the NCCCO acronyms and logo with another program not in compliance with, nor under the control of, the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators. This does not preclude the issuance of a certificate of completion of training, which is preparation for the NCCCO examination. The company, organization or individual shall place the following wording in a prominent position adjacent to each CCO logo used:
"[Company XYZ] fully endorses the national certification program offered by the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO), and will prepare candidates for the CCO certification examinations." "The company" and "[Company XYZ]" refers to the entity applying for use of the logo and/or acronyms.
NOTES
1. The NCCCO logo and acronyms are the exclusive property of the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators. They may not be used without prior written permission. Any unauthorized use will be grounds for compensatory or other legal action.
2. NCCCO encourages the authorized use of the NCCCO logo and acronyms. NCCCO does not charge for their use in the above manner if approved in writing by the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators. Logos are available electronically to entities who have applied to use them upon email request.
