Rigger and Signalperson Practical Examiner Accreditation Workshop

August 2009  – The National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO) is pleased to announce a Rigger and Signalperson Practical Examiner Accreditation Workshop to be held in Omaha, NE on September 8-10 2009.

The Rigger Workshop will take place on September 8-9, 2009.  The Rigger workshop is strictly limited to ten (10) participants. The workshop is filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. You will have the opportunity to get certified and accredited in the Rigger category at this workshop.  In addition to the cost of the workshop ($625) there is a $190 fee for the written and practical Rigger Examinations.  Please come prepared to pay these fees.

A Signalperson Workshop will be held the following day, September 10, 2009.  In addition to the cost of the workshop ($625) there is a $190 fee for the Signalperson written and practical examinations, for those that are not currently certified.  The workshop is strictly limited to fifteen (15) participants, the workshop is filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.

We will be reviewing all candidate applications before admission is granted.  All applications must include payment and your resume or will be considered incomplete.    Your application must be received no later than September 1, 2009.

We regret the short notice of this Workshop that has resulted from its recent reclassification from “closed” to “open” status.  Early notification is a priority of future Workshops for the Rigger and Signalperson Programs NCCCO currently has in development.  Further information will be available shortly.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact Shawna Parham.
