Buckner Hosts 10th Anniversary Fun Run

June 2009  –  A sunny California desert morning greeted the more than 50 early risers at the Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association (SC&RA) Annual Conference in April who signed up for the benefit at the beautiful La Quinta (Palm Springs) Resort selected for this year's event. This year marked the 10th Anniversary of sponsorship by Buckner HeavyLift Cranes, Graham, NC for the CCO 5K Fun Run/Walk for the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO).

Buckner President, Doug Williams(pictured right) is presented a plaque by Joel Oliva of NCCCO acknowledging Buckners decade of support.

A staple of the Annual Conference, this year's Fun Run, titled Pace in Palm Springs, set a new record number of participants, beating last year's record of 40. Buckner President, Doug Williams, generously provided all participants with a commemorative T-shirt, and was formally acknowledged for his decade of support of the CCO benefit by NCCCO's Joel Oliva who presented him with a recognition plaque.
