Position Title: TESTING SERVICES ASSOCIATE

Reports to: Director, Testing Services

Location: NCCCO Western Regional Office (Murray, Utah)

ABOUT THE NATIONAL COMMISSION FOR THE CERTIFICATION OF CRANE OPERATORS:

The National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO) is a nationally recognized organization that develops and administers performance examinations to those who work in and around cranes. NCCCO also acts as the authoritative industry resource for related information (www.nccco.org). With offices in Murray, Utah; Fairfax, Virginia; and Dunedin, Florida, we serve the lifting community throughout the nation through the administration of required certification examinations.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsibilities include processing of candidate applications and payments, accurately maintaining certificant records, transferring of data from paper documents to an electronic format, working with clients in establishing testing events, and addressing questions that arise regarding the certification process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Data Entry—entering information from hard copy documents into Candidate Processing System
  • Exam Processing—scoring completed written/practical examinations and reporting results to candidates
  • Maintain Candidate Records—accurately enter, assess, and interpret candidate records based on business rules
  • Payment Processing—correctly assessing exam and related fees, collecting payment, and accurately recording payment into Candidate Processing System
  • Digital Records Management—create digital records from hard copy records for archival
  • Communication/Customer Service—effectively communicate with candidates, test site coordinators, practical examiners, and other users of the program to convey information accurately and efficiently
  • Other Duties—as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent communication skills—verbal, written, telephone, email
  • Excellent computer skills—Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Dynamics CRM
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Attention to detail

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This is largely a desk-bound position that requires the ability to speak, hear, see, and lift small objects up to 20 lb. Requires the ability occasionally to travel locally, regionally, and nationally.

POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED WORK HOURS:

This is a full-time position. Regular days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Must be able to maintain regular, reliable attendance and on-time daily arrival.

Salary: Full-time position, with a salary commensurate with experience, education, and market rates, plus an exceptional benefits program.
