Position Title: PROGRAM INTEGRITY ASSISTANT

Reports to: General Counsel/Director of Administration
Job Type: Full-time
Location: Western Regional Office (Murray, Utah)

ABOUT THE NATIONAL COMMISSION FOR THE CERTIFICATION OF CRANE OPERATORS:

NCCCO was formed in 1995 as a non-profit organization with a stated mission to develop effective performance standards for safe crane operation to assist all segments of general industry and construction. NCCCO is headquartered in Fairfax, Virginia, and also maintains offices in Murray, Utah, and Dunedin, Florida.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the General Counsel, the successful candidate will have a broad range of administrative skills to provide support to test integrity matters. This includes fact gathering, interviewing, tracking, and drafting correspondence for the Program Integrity Team (PIT).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Assist with Program Integrity cases and Related Ethics & Discipline (E&D) matters
    • Assist PIT staff leads in conducting fact-gathering related to program integrity and E&D matters
    • Assist PIT staff leads in conducting interviews related to program integrity and E&D matters
    • Draft initial notices and correspondence, as assigned, relating to the opening of PIT cases
    • Draft initial reports, as assigned, relating to PIT cases
    • Draft status reports to third parties, as assigned, relating to PIT cases
    • Prepare initial drafts of notification letters, as assigned, regarding the disposition of PIT cases
    • Maintain case files and related materials generated during PIT investigations
  2. Assist with Management of Program Integrity Activities
    • Develop and maintain “forms” of letters to be used by the PIT in different types of cases/situations
    • Assist with internal tracking of program integrity and E&D matters
    • Track compliance with PIT procedures and policies
    • Develop materials to standardize PIT investigations
    • Assist with handling of PIT hotline calls and emails
  3. Assist with Management of Leases and Contracts
    • Assist with management of leases and key agreements
    • Assist with management of other contracts
    • Assist with development and implementation of contract management system
  4. Assist with Management of Insurance Policies and Certificates
    • Assist with organization and management of insurance policies
    • Assist in responding to inquiries/requests for insurance certificates
  5. Assist with Management of ADA Accommodation Requests
    • Assist with development of improved tracking of case
    • Assist with management of ADA accommodation requests
  6. Assist with Management of Exam Extension Requests
  7. Assist with Management of Domain Name Registrations
    • Assist with development of improved tracking of registrations
    • Assist with registration and maintenance of domain names
  8. Other Duties as Appropriate and Assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2–5 years’ experience as an Administrative Assistant in a legal environment, preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Acute attention to detail

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This is largely a desk-bound position that requires the ability to speak, hear, see, and lift small objects up to 20 lb. Requires the ability occasionally to travel locally, regionally, and nationally.

POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED WORK HOURS:

This is a full-time position. Regular days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Salary: Full-time position, with a salary commensurate with experience, education, and market rates, plus an exceptional benefits program.
